    1. Operator and agreement

AtriumArena is operated by Purple Panda Limited, established in Hong Kong ("AtriumArena", "we", "us"). Contact our contact address about these Terms. These Terms govern access to the platform; the Privacy and Cookie Notice explains personal-data handling, and the Expert Data-Use Terms address experts receiving audience details.

You must be at least 18, legally able to enter an agreement, and authorized to act for any organization you represent. We seek clear acceptance where required. Posting terms does not retroactively create consent or amend a separately signed agreement. Mandatory rights prevail over conflicting provisions.

    2. What the platform provides

AtriumArena supports expert profiles, educational battles and showcases, audience registration, voting, rankings and editorial articles. Experts and event-service providers are independent of us unless expressly stated otherwise. Listing, a badge, ranking, platform review or participation does not certify professional qualifications, accuracy, suitability or regulatory authorization.

Events may depend on outside conferencing or replay services. Participation, schedules, availability and features can change. We do not guarantee attendance, audience size, leads, sales, search ranking, AI recommendations, investment returns or any other commercial result.

    3. Accounts and permitted use

Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for your organization's users. You are not automatically responsible for every unauthorized act regardless of fault.

Ordinary indexing, linking and reference to public pages are permitted subject to lawful access restrictions and applicable content rights. They do not authorize extracting personal information or copying protected material for an unrelated purpose.

    • Do not impersonate others, misrepresent credentials, manipulate votes or referrals, create deceptive accounts, or evade participation limits.
    • Do not send unlawful or unsolicited messages, resell audience details, or use access to contact people beyond their permission.
    • Do not upload malware or unlawful, infringing, defamatory, confidential or misleading material; attempt unauthorized access; bypass security controls; or materially disrupt the service.
    • Do not bulk-harvest personal data or exploit another person's registration, verification code or account.

    4. Expert content, results and AI-assisted articles

Experts are responsible for their identities, qualifications, presentations, offers, claims, intellectual-property permissions and compliance with professional or advertising rules. A battle result reflects platform voting under its rules, not an independent assessment of professional competence. We may investigate suspicious votes and correct or withhold affected results on a reasonable basis.

Presentations, profiles and articles are general educational material, not individualized legal, medical, tax, investment or other regulated advice. Check material claims and consult an appropriately qualified professional for your circumstances.

Editorial articles may be produced with AI assistance and checked against cited sources. AI output and sources can contain errors, omissions or outdated information; citations and review are not a guarantee of accuracy or a license to reuse a third party's work. Report a suspected error or rights issue to the contact above.

    5. Ownership and limited content permission

We and our licensors retain rights in the platform software, design, branding and original editorial material, except content owned by users or other rights holders. No trademark or other ownership right transfers merely because you use the service.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, format, display and distribute it as reasonably needed to operate the platform and promote the relevant profile, event or published contribution. We may permit infrastructure providers to perform those tasks, not sell your underlying ownership.

This permission lasts while the content is used for those purposes and a reasonable removal or backup period afterward, subject to legal duties and material already lawfully distributed. Separate advertising endorsement, a recording, testimonial or reuse outside those purposes needs an appropriate right or agreement. Submitting an event does not by itself grant us a right to record its participants.

    6. Personal data and audience permissions

The Privacy and Cookie Notice describes registration and sharing. An account, a vote, attendance, these Terms or a general content licence does not by itself authorize marketing. Each required disclosure and permission must be obtained for the proposed use.

Experts must comply with the Expert Data-Use Terms and applicable law when accessing audience information. We remain responsible for our own obligations and do not transfer them to experts merely by calling those experts independent. Neither party may use contractual labels to avoid its actual legal responsibilities.

    7. Paid services

Paid platform features are not currently offered through active checkout. A future paid feature requires clearly disclosed pricing, billing, cancellation and refund terms before purchase. We do not create a subscription or authorize a charge merely by showing a roadmap, badge or premium-feature description.

Any separate service you buy directly from an expert is governed by your agreement with that expert, unless we expressly agree to act as the supplier. This does not exclude responsibility we cannot lawfully exclude.

    8. Moderation, suspension and closure

We may restrict a feature, remove content, suspend an account or end access where reasonably necessary for a material breach, suspected fraud, security, legal compliance or discontinuation of a service. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and give an opportunity to respond; urgent action may be required before notice.

You can stop using the platform or request account closure through our contact address. Closure does not necessarily remove public results, legally needed records, or copies already received lawfully by others. Retention and privacy requests are handled as described in the Privacy and Cookie Notice.

For a copyright or other content complaint, identify the material and URL, explain the rights or concern, provide contact details, and include information reasonably needed to assess it. We may seek a response and take proportionate action; a complaint is not an automatic admission of liability.

    9. Availability and warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the platform and general educational content are provided on an 'as available' basis, without promises of uninterrupted operation, perfect security, error-free content or fitness for a particular commercial objective. There is no service-level commitment unless separately agreed.

This is not an exclusion of a non-excludable warranty, a specific promise we expressly make, or liability that applicable law requires us to accept. We will not rely on a disclaimer to excuse unlawful conduct.

    10. Limits of liability

Subject to the exceptions below, and only where fair, reasonable and enforceable under applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of anticipated profits, opportunities or goodwill arising from use of the platform. A loss is not excluded just because we describe it as indirect if applicable law treats it otherwise.

On the same basis, our total aggregate liability arising from the platform or these Terms is limited to the greater of HKD 1,000 and the fees you actually paid us for the affected service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation remains subject to applicable reasonableness and consumer-protection requirements.

Nothing excludes or limits fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law prohibits exclusion; liability arising from intentional unlawful conduct; or any liability, statutory remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. You must take reasonable steps to mitigate avoidable loss, without losing mandatory rights.

    11. Law and disputes

Please contact our contact address first if a dispute arises so we can try to resolve it. This is an invitation, not a barrier to urgent relief, a statutory complaint or a legal deadline.

Hong Kong law governs these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory protections applying to you continue to apply. Hong Kong courts have jurisdiction over business disputes; this does not deprive a consumer of a court or remedy that applicable law requires to remain available. No compulsory arbitration, class-action waiver or waiver of privacy-regulator access is created by these Terms.

    12. Changes and general provisions

The version is shown on this page. Material changes should be notified reasonably in advance where practical, with new acceptance where legally required. Urgent security or legal changes may take effect sooner. Changes do not retrospectively alter accrued rights or create marketing consent.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue so far as lawful; an invalid clause is not replaced by a more restrictive rule than law allows. A failure to enforce a right once is not a waiver. We may transfer operation with the business subject to existing rights and data-protection obligations; you may not transfer an account to evade these Terms.

Provisions that reasonably need to survive closure, including ownership, lawful retention, accrued obligations and enforceable liability/dispute provisions, survive only to that extent.
